M.Y. Hospital, Indore is the teaching College Hospital of M.G.M. Medical College, Indore, It has 915 beds with all he major departments namely surgery, Medicine, Obst. & Gynac., Orthopaedics, E.N.T., Ophthalmology, Radiology, Anaesthesiology, Paediatrics, Forensic Medicine & Casualty etc.

Dr. I.A. Khan is the Jt. Director Cum Superintendent with Dr. K.K. Saxena as Assistant Superintendent along with Dr. G.S. Mittal as In charge Stores of the hospital. 

In the year 2000 total O.P.D.'s patients were 526279 examined out of which 45446 patients were Admitted. Total 28551 operations were done out of which 5039 major & 23512 Minor.

"Kaya Kalp Abhiyan"a mammoth task of cleanliness of whole hospital preventing and killing all the rats were carried out in Oct. 1994.

"Rogi Kalyan Samiti" formulated in year 1994. R.K.S. working is completely computerized in the year 1999. The R.K.S. is know converted in to Autonomous Society.

M.G.M. medical College & Associated Hospitals is a way to have participation of patients in better running of the hospital. Nominal Charges have been imposed for the various services, but still the investigations & treatment are free for the poor & needy.

The total collection of RKS till date is Rs. 3,16,85,095.00 (Rs. Three Crore Sixteen lakh Eighty Five Thousand and Ninety Five only) out of which major amount has been spent for the purchase of important Machinery, Equipments & improvement of services in M.Y. Hospital.

The hospital has an incinerator for last few years. The contract is being given for security & Cleanliness of the hospital as well as running of Incinerator. The biochemistry & Pathological Investigation are being done for minimum rates by a private firm.
